Janet Napolitano as a classmate, for a while.  Evelyn met her husband while attending Texas Tech University.  Her husband graduated from Central High School in Phoenix.  Evelyn?s Arizona roots go back to the early 1880?s when her great-grandmother?s family lived in Globe, AZ.  She began visiting the Phoenix area in the early 1970?s when mid-western relatives retired to the Valley of the Sun.  Evelyn has three daughters and a ?rescued? dog named, Shasta.     Horses?family?nutrition and health?cooking?community involvement?helping the disadvantaged?these are just a few of Evelyn?s passions!
